I want to say thanks to Tom for his friendship and all the help he was in getting me interested in putting together a matchlock. It was him that rounded up a barrel from another member on another board for my matchlock creation. He also made me a neat bag , not the one in the picture, and the cool flat horn.
Thanks buddy and hope all is well in your world and sorry we didn`t get over your way on our trip.
shake hands

Some of us like to live the life of those from the period and some of us just like to build things, myself I like to make things and Tom inspired me to make the matchlock rifle.
To me inspiration is the beginning of a new adventure.
